STEP ONE: Never hit the "Report Spam" button (figure 1). Hitting this button may prevent you from getting email from all members who contact you.

If you hit the "Report Spam" button by mistake, please take the following steps to make sure you continue to get your email.

Access the "Spam Folder" in the lower right-hand corner of your mailbox.
Click on the Match.com email that you mistakenly reported as spam in the spam folder (figure 2).
Click on the "This is not Spam" button at the bottom of the spam folder.

Please complete these simple steps to make sure you receive all Match.com emails.

STEP TWO: Add Match.com email addresses to your AOL Email Address Book.

Starting from your AOL Homepage,

Under Mail in top left corner, click Read
Under Mail Options pull down to Address Book
Click Add
Under Primary Email Address, select other email, then type
yourmatches@connect.match.com (figure 3)
Click Save
Repeat the previous three steps, also adding
match@connect.match.com

Emails from these addresses will go to your AOL Inbox.

STEP THREE: Make sure emails sent to you by MATCH.COM MEMBERS are not automatically deleted.

Under Mail Options pull down to "Block Unwanted Mail"
Choose one of the filters under "Control Who I Get Email From"
We recommend you leave the setting at "Allow mail from all senders." No other action is required.

If you choose anything OTHER THAN "Allow mail from all senders," follow these additional instructions:

Under "Blocked mail should be" select "Delivered to Spam Folder" (figure 4)
Click Save

ALL emails sent to you by other Match.com members will go into your "Spam Folder" INSTEAD OF your Inbox.
Please note: This is only recommended if you choose any setting other than "Allow mail from all senders."

Match.com email may contain pictures of people you've expressed interest in learning about. Make certain that you click "Yes" ( figure 5) to see mail from Match.com.

If images do not appear in your email click the "Show images & enable links" ( figure 6) at the top of your mail.

Windows Live Hotmail

STEP ONE: Never click the "Junk" button (figure 1) with an email from Match.com. Hitting this button may prevent you from receiving email from all members who contact you - not just the individual email that you may not wish to view. Emails marked as junk will be automatically sent to your "Junk E-mail" folder and deleted. Reporting and blocking an email will prevent any and all email from Match.com members from getting to your inbox.

STEP TWO: Make sure there are no emails from Match.com in your Junk E-mail folder. If you find an email from Match.com in your Junk E-Mail folder, find the email and check the box, then click "Not Junk" (figure 2). Clicking this button will allow you to receive emails from Match.com and all members who contact you - not just the individual email that you may not wish to view. Emails marked as junk will be automatically sent to your "Junk E-mail" folder and deleted.

STEP THREE: If you open an email from Match.com (or another Match.com member) that is located in your Junk E-Mail folder, click on the icon "Not Junk Mail" (figure 3).

STEP FOUR: Please complete the simple steps below to make sure all Match.com email is deliver to your Hotmail Inbox.

Add Match.com email domains to your "Safe List":
Starting from your Hotmail Inbox click on Option on the right-hand side of the screen

Click on "Options"
Click on "More options..." in the dropdown
Click on "Safe and blocked senders" under the Junk e-mail heading
Click on "Safe Senders" (figure 4)

Add the following domains to your Safe List exactly as they are displayed below: (figure 4)

@match.com
@talkmatch.com

Yahoo

STEP ONE: Never hit the "Spam" button when either viewing or marking the checkbox next to a Match.com email (figure 1). Hitting this button may prevent you from receiving email from all members who contact you not just the individual email that you may not wish to view.

Please complete the simple steps below to make sure the Match.com emails you've requested are delivered to your Yahoo! Mail Inbox.

Add Match.com email addresses to your Address Book:

Starting from your Yahoo! Mail Inbox

Select the Addresses tab at the top of the screen
Select Add Contact
In the space next to "Email" type: yourmatches@connect.match.com
(It is not necessary to fill in the rest of the form) (figure 2)
Click Save Contact
Click Done
Repeat the previous four steps, adding: match@connect.match.com

This will NOT guarantee that email sent to you from other Match.com members will be delivered to your Inbox. Please check your Bulk Mail folder regularly for email from members interested in you.

Other

To ensure that Match.com communications are not filtered into your “junk/bulk” folder, select the Add/Save to Address Book function in your email browser and follow the appropriate instructions. Please contact your email provider if you would like assistance.

Many email providers have “spam” or “junk” functions that will automatically delete or block emails that you report as “spam” or “junk.” Hitting these buttons may prevent you from receiving email from all members who contact you — not just the individual email that you may not wish to view. For best results, avoid using these functions with Match.com communications.

If your email looks distorted or if the links within the email do not work, your email provider may automatically send emails to your inbox with the images and links deliberately turned off. Many email providers provide functions that allow you to see images and links in your email; it’s often just a matter of hitting a button or two. Please contact your email provider for assistance on allowing images and links to display in your email.
