I'm having difficulty purchasing an add-on (Connect, Select or Boost). What should I do?

You’ve poured a glass of something nice, you’ve settled down ready to discover someone awesome on Match and… you can’t upgrade or Boost! What’s going on?

Don’t panic: there are two reasons you might have trouble making a purchase:

  • My payment has been accepted, but nothing is happening. Log out of Match and log in again. Then check your payment history in the ‘My Account Settings’ page. Upgrades run constantly as soon as they're purchased, while Boosts & Incognito need to be activated manually.
  • My payment has been refused. First, double check you have entered all the card details correctly – it’s easy to make a mistake. If you don't know why your payment has not been accepted, please try again using another card. If you still have problems, try calling our Customer Care team and they’ll help you find a solution.
