Can I bring friends along to Events?
Events are mainly organised for Match members and subscribers. But, you can invite a maximum of 3 friends to certain events (if there are spaces available).
You’ll be given this option when you sign up for the event.
There’s no need to worry about going to an event by yourself! It’s perfectly natural to feel a little apprehensive about turning up to an event alone, but don’t worry, that feeling will soon pass! Do my friends have to be Match members to attend events?
For certain events, you can invite up to 3 friends who are the same gender as you, regardless of whether they are already members. But, you can only invite a non-member friend to an event once you’ve signed up for the event yourself. To find out if you can invite friends to an event that you’re attending, simply check whether the โInvite friendsโ banner is displayed on the specific event’s page. For paid events, you’ll also have to pay for your guests’ ticket(s) on the website.
How do I pay for my friends?
If you’re bringing friends to a paid event, you’ll need to pay for their ticket(s) on the website. To do this, you’ll need to enter your details, as well your guests’ details, and pay for their ticket(s) at the same time as yours, on the website. Please note that your guests will be charged the full rate.
