When did you meet?: We started talking on 3 January 2022. Met on 23 January 2022 for our first date.
What aspect of their Match profile did you find most attractive or interesting?: From Heather – Mutual interests i.e. history and his photos were nice and showed that he enjoyed traveling. From Gary – Again, mutual interests and photos looked nice and I liked her smile.
Do you have any plans together as a couple (holidays, moving in, commitment…): Yes! We are getting married on 2 August 2025 and have been living together for 6 months. We are also in the process of purchasing our house together.
What are the cute little things you do for each other on a daily basis?: Making tea and coffee for each other! We look out for each other and always make sure we sit and have dinner together to talk through our day. We like to visit castles and leave our mark there, by planting a little flag! We got engaged at Framlingham Castle in 2023, as this was our first castle visit together a year earlier 🙂 We also plan to get married at a castle too!
What is the most crazy thing you have done for each other?: I organized Gary’s 40th birthday and kept it a secret from him for over 5 months. He got to visit koalas in Edinburgh which had been on his bucket list! For Gary, he had a secret operation to propose to me! He asked my dad in February for permission to marry me and on Mother’s Day took our parents to pick up the ring and I didn’t suspect a thing. We then all had lunch together and they had to pretend they didn’t know anything!
