When did you meet?: We met in July – we “liked” our profiles on Thursday, texted on Friday, had a long phone call on Saturday, and met on Sunday.
What aspect of their Match profile did you find most attractive or interesting?: I like his openness and honesty and that he was in the same situation as me – we were both recently widowed and did not want to be alone.
Do you have any plans together as a couple (holidays, moving in, commitment…): Oh yes, we have lots of things planned in our joint diary and lots on our we would like to do list! And we have already done a lot together – we have been out for meals and had fish and chips on the beach, done walks, visited gardens, been to shows and theatres and all sorts of live music events, and met each other’s friends and family, as well as doing lots of normal day-to-day things in our homes together like shopping and cooking, gardening, watching tv and our favourite pastime listening to all sorts of music together usually cuddled up together on the sofa. We have just returned from a few days in Paris visiting the Palace of Versailles and the whole trip was very romantic!
What are the cute little things you do for each other on a daily basis?: We hold hands anywhere everywhere, and we hug spontaneously – and people notice we make each other happy and they smile too; we were sitting on a bench when a lady walking by smiled and said ‘You make a lovely picture, it must be love’ and another time we were taking a selfie when a young woman offered to take a photo of us – she took several then said ‘how about one with a kiss?’ So we kissed and took a lovely photo then Bob said ‘we’ve only just met’ and we all blushed and laughed.
What is the most crazy thing you have done for each other?: We have silly conversations that go off all over the place and make each other laugh hysterically. And he loves my crazy morning bed hair style!
