When did you meet?: We met in December of 2021, about 2 weeks after I joined the site.
What aspect of their Match profile did you find most attractive or interesting?: Sense of humour, several current pictures that were decent quality and showed their face and whole person/body, great profile description, and very respectful.
Do you have any plans together as a couple (holidays, moving in, commitment…): We have hit the deck running because the connection was instant. I feel as though the man of my dreams walked out of my head and heart and onto the Match site, and subsequently into my life. It is still early days (under a month) but there is an uncanny sense of ‘knowing’ and ease, and an incredible connection that trumpets “this could be the one!!!” And yes, we are already planning a weekend away in February with discussions of longer-term possibilities. I’m a Canadian and he’s from central UK so there are a few hurdles but we feel like horses ready to leap over the hurdles!
What are the cute little things you do for each other on a daily basis?: Texting little love notes, and phone calls almost every day. He is very thoughtful, and I’m sensitive to the fact he has a 16-year-old daughter so I’m trying to be very thoughtful about the impact on her. And we laugh and laugh together. So refreshing!
What is the most crazy thing you have done for each other?: Again, early days. Last weekend we spent 10 hours together and wandered around London’s Covent Garden, Soho, Leicester Square, Carnaby, Kings Cross, etc. In Leicester Square at the Christmas Market, we bought hotdogs and spiced apple cider. I accidentally got his cheese-filled hotdog and it exploded all over my face, and shot over my shoulder and hit a passer-by. While he sweetly tried to wipe the cheese off my face, we laughed and laughed and so did all the people around us. While not outrageously crazy, it was a moment in our early relationship that will be a memory we laugh about for years to come.
